Our story
EventKey was originally developed in 2018 by BDB Consult as a ticket and registration platform, and today operates as an independent platform. What started as a solution for non-profit organisations has grown into a platform that serves organisations of every size. Since launch we have supported events with thousands of visitors.
The platform is built by professionals with a background in Engineering and IT Security. You can rely on the highest standards in quality, performance, and security.
Our mission
Powerful event technology should be available to every organisation. For commercial clients we apply fair, annual fees with a fixed amount per ticket. Organisations that run mostly on volunteers can use our platform free of charge — an initiative we make possible thanks to the revenue from our commercial customers.
Our values
We stand for fair business, transparency, and professionalism. EventKey supports organizations in every sector — commercial and non-profit. We do not work with organizations that contribute to harm against humans or animals, and we reserve the right to refuse service when activities are not in line with our ethical standards.
Non-Profit License Conditions
Our free Non-Profit offering is intended for organisations that run mostly on volunteers (foundations, associations and other not-for-profit bodies) and put their resources towards social goals — not excessive board compensation. The condition is that you back up your application with at least one commercial organisation as sponsor or client. Paid tickets sold through the webshop are charged at a flat €0.60 per ticket (all-inclusive; the subscription per-ticket rate does not apply on top). We reserve the right to refuse or revoke a Non-Profit licence when an organisation no longer meets these conditions.
